QUALITY CONTROLLERS - Carrot & Onion Packhouses
We are looking to strengthen and support our Quality Control function in post harvest operations. We are keen to seek applicants for the role of Quality Controller in the Carrot and Onion packhouses. QCs are responsible for ensuring Wilcox systems are compliant with food safety and regulatory requirements and product quality consistently satisfies customer expectations. You will be responsible for monitoring product through the storing and packing processes to ensure it confirms to specification across all product groups. Ideally you will have knowledge and/or experience of NZ Gap, WQA and HACCP and dealing with MAF procedures and requirements in preparing product for export. While you will be initially based in either the Onion Export Packhouse or the Carrot Packhouse, you will be required to develop your skills across all product groups and be able to work in all packhouses and actively contribute to quality control in these areas.
You will be a member of a high performing and well respected team of Quality Controllers within our business where issues are addressed promptly and communicated well. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have confidence in your abilities, back your own decisions and be prepared to implement them. Full training in all aspects of Quality Control will be given to the successful applicants.
If you feel you have the skills and desire to contribute to the quality team, please send your application and cv to firstname.lastname@example.org.
