Mince and Potatoes

500g beef mince
1 onion, finely chopped
2-3 carrots chopped
280ml gravy, using gravox (or however you want to make it)
potatoes, as many as needed, peeled and chopped
salt and pepper
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon butter
Brown the beef mince and onion in a large saucepan, then add the carrots.
Then fill the pan of mince with cold water and bring to the boil, then turn heat down to let it simmer for about 1 hour.
Meanwhile, put the potatoes on to boil for 40 mins - 1 hr.
When the mince has cooked for an hour, drain using saucepan lid or collander. Add the gravy, stir into the mince, season and heat through for a few mins.
When the potatoes have cooked, drain, add milk and butter and mash until lump free.
Plate up the potatoes and then the mince.
