Home Farm packshot

Syd Wilcox started growing potatoes in the 1930s and the Pukekohe collection of paddocks next to the family home were affectionately known as the ‘Home Farm’, hence the name.

More recently the Wilcox family has expanded into growing other root crops namely carrots and onions. In order to supply these products year round we now grow in Pukekohe, Matamata, Ohakune and Rakaia in the South Island. These crops are still grown with the same passion and enthusiasm that Syd had all those years ago.

Home Farm provides a premium range of:

  • washed potatoes (packaged into 2 kilo Roasting, Mashing, Boiling and Red bags)
  • washed and sized carrots in a 1.5kg bag and
  • sized and graded brown onions in a 1.5kg bag. All of these products are available from selected independent retail stores.
